How to remove add-ons from Internet Explorer

  4. Find suspicious or unwanted programs ;
  5. Click Uninstall;

Note: If you can’t find required program, sort programs by date in Programs and Features and search for last installed programs.

Windows 8/Windows 8.1:

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search (If you’re using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.);
  2. Enter control panel in the search box, and then tap or click Control Panel;
  3. Under View by:, select Large Icons, and then tap or click Programs and features;
  4. Find suspicious or unwanted programs;
  5. Tap or click the program, and then tap or click Uninstall;
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen or just wait.

Note: If you can’t find required program, sort programs by date in Programs and Features and search for last installed programs.

Windows XP:

  1. Click Start;
  2. Click Control Panel;
  3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs;
  4. Find suspicious or unwanted programs and Click it;
  5. Click to Remove;
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen or just wait.

Note: If you can’t find required program, sort programs by date in Programs and Features and search for last installed programs.

Remove add-ons in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer;
  2. Press Alt+T, or Click on Gear Icon in the right-top corner;
  3. Click Manage Add-ons;
  4. Select Toolbars and Extensions;
  5. Find unwanted add-on and Click Disable ;
  6. Click More information button;
  7. Click Remove

    4. Find add-on that you want to delete, then click on to Remove button.
  2. Iobit Uninstaller

    2. Click Toolbars & Plug-ins tab;
    3. Find and mark add-ons that you want to remove;
    4. Click Remove button.
  3. Stronghold AntiMalware

    2. Click Tools button;
    3. Click Toolbar Removal button;
    4. Click on the Internet Explorer Tab and click Refresh button;
    5. Mark add-ons that you want to remove, then click Remove button;
