BoBrowser – is a typical browser hijacker, developed by CLARALABSOFTWARE. It can infect many browsers, like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Hijackers replace user’s default engine and homepage by its own. It is doing for advertising and marketing, by creating additional advertisements on new search engine.     Click Programs and Features (if computer’s settings Viewed By: Icons);
  4. Find programs possibly related to BoBrowser;
  5. Click Uninstall;
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen or just wait.

Note: If you can’t find required program, sort programs by date in Control panel and search for last installed programs.

Another way to get rid of BoBrowser is if you are running win8 or 8.1, the little up arrow to the bottom right of your browser, click on that you will see the bobrowser icon, click on that unclick the (let bobrowser run in background) the go to your programs and feature’s and uninstall. I did not want to install any new programs to get rid of it, so I accidentally stumbled onto it.
    I also noticed a task manager on there as well, so i’m thinking on all other window’s, do your task manager and stop the program (bobrowser) then uninstall. I believe this is key to uninstalling it. Worked for me.
