What is Alphashoppers?

Alphashoppers is a fake search engine that might be present on macOS devices. If you are experiencing such a problem in Safari, Google Chrome, or another browser then you got browser hijacker. It usually comes bundled with other free programs and can get installed on the targeted system as a browser extension or as a standalone application. Following infiltration, it changes browser’s settings so that every time the user searches in browser he or she will get redirected to https://www.alphashoppers.co/search/search.html?partid. Alphashoppers seeks to redirect the user to partner domains by showing the list of search results filled with ad links and sponsored content. By so doing, developers can generate revenue from each user’s click on an affiliate link. Alphashoppers removal might depend on many different factors, but the easiest way to get rid of the browser hijacker is to use a proper anti-malware program like Norton Antivirus. A manual removal guide is only recommended for experienced users.
