The content of the note left by the attackers approves that the user must pay the ransom to get a special program that decrypts the user files. The amount is indicated in bitcoins and is 0.24 BTC. Scammers choose to use the currency in order to avoid punishment since such operations are not monitored. Note also contains the addresses for communication with extortionists.
