What is EdgeManagement?

EdgeManagement is a potentially unwanted program that comes to users’ devices in the form of a browser extension. In most cases, EdgeManagement may end up on your computer after you install some freeware and don’t opt out of optional apps offered by download clients. Once inside, it takes over your search engine/new tab settings replacing it with a new one which in turn provides users with inaccurate search results. This is done to make users visit affiliate websites as owners of EdgeManagement earn money using a pay-per-click technique where revenue comes from each user’s click on the partner link. The presence of hijackers is also often associated with information tracking. EdgeManagement tracks browsing activities, cookies, technical information, and other data. The gathered data may be used to display ads that suit users’ interests and attract them to click on them even more. A manual guide to remove EdgeManagement is given at the end of the article. You can also rely on an automatic solution which is quicker and simpler.
