How to remove etToolBoxSearch from Mac

Sharing is caring!

What is NetToolBoxSearch?

NetToolBoxSearch is a misleading browser add-on that adds new toolbar to your browser. While it’s not a dangerous virus, and in fact, it’s harmless, we recommend you to remove NetToolBoxSearch from your computer. This type of malware is classified as a browser hijacker. The browser hijacker usually comes as a browser extension but sometimes it is installed as a separate application. A browser hijacker can change homepage, new tab page or default search engine of a browser and take measures to prevent users from changing those settings back. The user may also notice an increase in the number of different advertisements interfering with browsing experience and reducing the performance of the system. Therefore, if you find etToolBoxSearch installed on your Mac, you must uninstall it right away.
