How to remove lkysearch from Mac

Sharing is caring!

What is lkysearch?

lkysearch – a browser hijacker that can take over your browser and redirect you to Yahoo search engine. This is the result of a rogue application that usually comes bundled with other free programs you might download off of the Internet. There are many similar apps, the distinguishing sign of which is the icon – a green circle with a magnifying glass in the middle: MainSearchPlatform, DicroveryEngine 1.0, OutputData, DynamicPanel, ProductEvent.app, etc. Therefore, first of all, you should check your system for unknown applications you don’t remember installing them. This hijacker corrupts the configuration of the browser so you have no choice but to use lkysearch as your default search engine. We recommend you to remove lkysearch as it can serve as a backdoor for other malware. You can perform removal with the help of Norton Antivirus automated removal tool or our manual instruction.
