What is Vmos.xyz?

Vmos.xyz is a fake search provider that shows inaccurate search results and collects users’ data. It may end up on your device without any notice after installing freeware programs. Due to these reasons, it’s was added to the “browser hijacker” category. It is not a trustworthy search engine since its main goal is to trick users into visiting commercial websites by providing altered search results. Switching to Google, Yahoo or other search providers becomes almost impossible because browser hijacker reassigns all back. It also can track all data related to your browsing activity (browsing history, most visited websites, accounts, input passwords and so on). Later, all collected information can be shared with third-parties. You may follow this guide to uninstall browser hijacker and remove Vmos.xyz redirect in Safari, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox web-browsers.
