ClearScreen Player won’t uninstall
There are certain cases, when users cannot uninstall ClearScreen Player normally, using standard Windows features in Control Panel. For Windows XP, Vista, 7
- Turn off your computer;
- Turn it on and immediately start typing F8 button;
- This will open Advanced Boot Options menu;
- Choose Safe Mode with arrow buttons;
- In Safe Mode go to Control Panel and Uninstall a program and remove “ClearScreen Player”.
For Windows 8/8.1 and 10
- Press the Win+R keys, type msconfig in box and press Enter;
- Switch to Boot tab, and click on Safe Boot check box;
- Choose the type of Safe Mode: Minimal or Network;
- Click OK and restart your PC;
- In Safe Mode go to Control Panel and Uninstall a program and remove “ClearScreen Player”.
After that remove ClearScreen Player related extensions from your browsers.
Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome
- Push Alt + F.
- Click Tools.
- Choose Extensions.
- Find ClearScreen Player.
- Click the trash can icon to remove it.
