ClearScreen Player won’t uninstall

There are certain cases, when users cannot uninstall ClearScreen Player normally, using standard Windows features in Control Panel. When users click Uninstall button they see message: “You do not have sufficient access to uninstall ClearScreen Player. For Windows XP, Vista, 7

  1. Turn off your computer;
  2. Turn it on and immediately start typing F8 button;
  3. This will open Advanced Boot Options menu;
  4. Choose Safe Mode with arrow buttons;
  5. In Safe Mode go to Control Panel and Uninstall a program and remove “ClearScreen Player”.

For Windows 8/8.1 and 10

  1. Press the Win+R keys, type msconfig in box and press Enter;
  2. Switch to Boot tab, and click on Safe Boot check box;
  3. Choose the type of Safe Mode: Minimal or Network;
  4. Click OK and restart your PC;
  5. In Safe Mode go to Control Panel and Uninstall a program and remove “ClearScreen Player”.

After that remove ClearScreen Player related extensions from your browsers.

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Push Alt + F.
  3. Click Tools.
  4. Choose Extensions.
  5. Find ClearScreen Player.
  6. Click the trash can icon to remove it.
