What is Liveads.net?

Liveads.net is a scam site that runs fake raffles promising valuable prizes. Most of the time adware ends up on computers or smartphones when users install free software and don’t opt out of extra programs that are offered to them, or when users open files downloaded from untrustworthy sources. However, to get access, the user has to enable notifications by clicking the “Allow” button “Show notifications” pop-up box (see the screenshot above). If the user does this, he or she will start getting notifications carrying shady content offering to visit casino sites, porn sites, and other suspicious sites or download some software. We do not advise you to ignore all offers from this domain, as there is a high risk of getting infected with other viruses or becoming a victim of fraud. Instead, you may use our step-by-step guide to get rid of adware and remove Liveads.net pop-ups and notifications from your browser.
