What is Promanager Record?

Promanager Record is an unwanted extension that can suddenly appear in your browser and resist being deleted. This type of malware is classified as a browser hijacker. The browser hijacker usually comes as a browser extension but sometimes it is installed as a separate application. Promanager Record tracks users’ browsing activity and uses this information to display customized ads on web pages users visit. As a result, countless annoying pop-up ads will appear from time to time while browsing the Internet. In addition to this, it can change the homepage, new tab page, and default search engine of a browser and take measures to prevent users from changing those settings back. Therefore, if you find Promanager Record installed on your Mac, you need to remove it immediately.
