How to remove Internet Explorer 9

Internet Explorer 9 is not installed like other programs in Windows, so you will not be able to remove it through Control Panel
To remove it from Windows 7 and Vista OS follow these steps:

  1. Click Start and type “view updates” in the search box
  2. Then click on view installed updates
  3. Scroll down to find “Windows Internet Explorer 9” and highlight the entry. Click uninstall. Confirm and reboot.
