What is CouponPeak

CouponPeak – is a nasty browser extension, which is built into many browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox. Developers of CouponPeak claim, that their product helps users with shopping on different websites, by showing them coupons and deals. But it shows coupons and deals whenever you want, also it displays ads banners, targeted videos and in-text hyperlinks. Clicking on them redirects you to potentially dangerous websites, that can contain additional dangerous software, like viruses or trojans. It isn’t safe to keep this adware.

How is CouponPeak installed on my PC?

CouponPeak, as many adwares, can be downloaded from suspicious websites or you may install it by yourself. But mostly, it can be installed, using “bundling”. It’s a function, when malware binds to free or share software. To avert the installation, don’t download free software from unknown resources. Be careful at every step of installation, pay attention to every checkbox you see, and if possible, choose custom/advanced settings.

How to remove CouponPeak?

  3. Click Uninstall a program (if computer’s settings Viewed By: Category);
    Click Programs and Features (if computer’s settings Viewed By: Icons);
  4. Find programs possibly related to CouponPeak;
  5. Click Uninstall;
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen or just wait.

Note: If you can’t find required program, sort programs by date in Control panel and search for last installed programs.
