Hold Page add-on is classified as adware, because of displaying a big amount of advertisements (ads, banners, pop-ups, targeted videos, in-text links). Its main purpose is scanning users browser activity and displaying coupons and deals on online store websites. Also scanned information may be shared with different malicious websites.
