How to uninstall (remove) Pricezilla

Sharing is caring!

What is Pricezilla?

Pricezilla is browser add-on for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. As developers claim it “helps you shop better” by displaying cheaper prices on items you want to buy on the internet. However, it also shows additional advertising, sometimes not related to your search habits. Pricezilla creates ads, pop-ups, drop-down ads signed as “Looking for better prices?” with offers of desired items from other shopping websites. Pricezilla can be uninstalled from Control Panel, but users complain on difficulties with de-installation. Use removal guide below to get rid of Pricezilla ads.

How Pricezilla gets on your PC?

Pricezilla is offered as free installation option with free utilities downloaded from the web. This technology is called “bundled installation”. Users usually don’t pay attention to the texts during installation, that’s why formally Pricezilla adware installs with user agreement. However, due to its malicious activity and the fact it does not explain all the consequences of its installation, Pricezilla is categorized as PUP (potentially unwanted program). 99% of antiviruses cannot detect Pricezilla installation as it is not a virus. To protect your machine from such adware I recommend you to use Norton or SpyHunter AntiMalware.
